Our Clients
Built for the sellers the big platforms turn away.
Three situations bring businesses to BorderRelay. Most of our clients recognise themselves in more than one.
Locked out by geography
Selling to EU consumers means EU obligations: VAT in your customer's member state from the first sale, invoices that meet each country's requirements, withdrawal rights, and liability for a dispute months after delivery. A company established outside the EU can meet all of that, but it means registrations, filings and a compliance function it did not set out to build. BorderRelay is the alternative: we buy your product and sell it on as a European seller of record, and the obligations come with the sale.
Declined by category
The large Merchant of Record platforms structurally refuse human services without a software component: coaching, consulting, advisory work, and access to paid communities. We assess those businesses individually instead of rejecting them by rule — provided the marketing is sober and free of income or result claims.
Done with the admin
You could run your own account — but the OSS filings, the per-country invoice rules, the dispute deadlines and the data-protection responsibility eat the hours you should spend on your product. And for EU consumers, an invoice from a verifiable Belgian company converts better than one from a distant jurisdiction.
Products we welcome
Digital products with clear delivery and honest marketing.
And what we decline, without exception: businesses in sanctioned territories or the highest risk categories, activities on the card networks' prohibited lists, programmes marketed on income or result promises, and dropshipping. Not because we dislike the sellers — because our liability is real, and protecting the platform protects every client on it.

The intake takes five minutes. We review every application personally and answer honestly — including when the honest answer is that we're not the right fit.
